I'm Marissa, wedding photographer based in Michigan, serving Michigan + beyond

 

Finding the emotion your story creates through timeless photography

 

I am a small town girl to big city suburb back living in the country. I've always been taking photos of friends and family ever since I could remember. Being married to my best friend is amazing as he is my biggest supporter and my own personal paparazzi always stealing my camera to take pictures of me and being my personal assistant during shoots. We have a crazy orange cat named Piper and just added Poppy a golden doodle to our family that helps keep our lives at home interesting.

I will be your personal story teller and cheerleader. Booking photos is more than just the session and receiving your photos back. Before every session, there is unlimited emails and texts about anything to help your session or wedding go smoothly and stress free. During the session or wedding, I will be your personal cheerleader saying "That's so cute" about 100 times because I am here just to document a milestone in your life. Your life is a story that God has written and I am here to bring that story to life and capture that in photos to freeze time forever.

Where It All Started

 

It all started with my parents camera taking photos for my friends. I was able to take two of my friends graduation from college photos. I loved taking my parents camera and going to the beach or around nature and taking photos of the landscape and of my husband. I recently bought my own camera and I am excited to capture your journey!
